Skills Builder Accelerator Programme
There are now 222 schools and colleges across the country, 40 in London, who have applied for funding for 2021-22 to be part of Skills Builder’s flagship Accelerator Programme. Perfect to support your careers strategy and to ensure that you are developing the essential skills necessary for employment, apprenticeships and success in life beyond school. The Accelerator will:
- Develop a comprehensive and sustainable strategy
- Achieve recognition for good practice through the Skills Builder Award
- Invest in a ‘Skills Leader’ to implement the strategy and lead the transformation
- Equip teachers with the knowledge, tools and resources to build students’ skills
- Give students the language to talk about their essential skills with confidence
- Provide opportunities for students to learn, practise and apply their skills
Funding is open to all state-funded primary and secondary schools, including special schools and alternative provision, along with colleges and sixth forms.
