– Has a strong understanding of best practice in teaching and learning
– Is able to communicate effectively with colleagues
– Has experience of working with ECTs or ITTs (desirable)
– Is committed to the development of the next generation of teachers

There will be changes to the REP leadership structure from September 2025.  In light of this we are pleased to advertise two interim positions:

Interim Professional Development Lead
Working Pattern:     An average of 6 hours per week
Contract Type:   Temporary role for 2025-26 academic year. Suitable for a self-employed applicant or an employed staff member where a school is willing to release for a financial contribution.
Pay scale: £75 per hour

We are looking for an Interim Professional Development Lead to have overall responsibility for the efficient design, implementation and delivery of high-quality professional learning and development opportunities provided by REP. This role includes line management responsibilities.

The successful candidate will be expected to have:
– At least two years’ experience of a senior management position held in a school or education setting;
– Experience of designing, implementing and evaluating professional learning.

Interim Operations Lead
Working Pattern: An average of 6 hours per week
Contract Type: Temporary role for 2025-26 academic year. Suitable for a self-employed applicant or an employed staff member where a school is willing to release for a financial contribution.
Pay scale: £50 per hour

We are looking for an Interim Operations Lead to have overall responsibility for the efficient running of the strategic and operational functions that support the work of all REP groups. This role includes line management responsibilities.

The successful candidate will be expected to have:
– At least 2 years’ experience of middle or senior management or a business leader position held in a school or education setting
– Experience of developing and managing strategic and administrative systems, in a school or education setting
